18 April 2024 – Beta KL hosted the inspiring ‘A Brush of Kindness’ Charity Soiree, a vibrant event dedicated to raising funds for underprivileged youth programs. The evening, filled with artistry and compassion, was made possible through the generous support of the Yeoh Foundation and Janet Lee Gallery, which works to honour the late artist’s legacy by uplifting Malaysia’s underprivileged and disabled artists.
Attendees were treated to an evening of delicacies curated by Chef Raymond Tham, a string quartet and soprano performances by young artistes from across Malaysia, all while contributing to a noble cause. The total proceeds from the night amounted to an impressive RM15,927 with the help of generous donors. Half of the proceeds will go to the gallery and the other half to the Yeoh Foundation.
Additionally, C&C played a pivotal role in the success of the event by providing essential event setup services, sponsoring the striking backdrop, and making generous donations through painting purchases.
The ‘A Brush of Kindness’ Charity Soiree served as a reminder of the power of collective action in fostering positive change. Through the combined efforts of Beta KL, the Yeoh Foundation, the Janet Lee Gallery, and C&C, significant strides were made towards creating a brighter future for underprivileged youth.
