27 September 2024 – The Couture Fashion Week Malaysia International Gala, held on 27th September 2024 at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, was a premier celebration of fashion excellence. Organised by Media Path Enterprise in partnership with Oriental Fashion Show Paris, World Fashion Week Dubai, and supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), C&C joined this prestigious event as a sponsor.
The gala featured a stunning couture fashion show with renowned designers such as Roberto Cavalli, Ridzuan Bohari, and Mouna Benmakhlouf. Guests enjoyed a red carpet, cocktail reception, exclusive dinner, and live entertainment and the atmosphere of sophistication and glamour. The event also served as a platform for emerging talents, particularly young designers incorporating traditional Malaysian textiles like batik and songket into contemporary fashion.
C&C Group of Companies played a pivotal role as one of the event’s sponsors, handling key elements of the gala’s visual and operational setup. C&C printed the striking backdrop for the event, which provided a beautiful setting for VIP photo sessions and media coverage.
Moreover, Monkii Global Holdings, a subsidiary of C&C, expertly managed the event logistics, stage setup, and AV system, ensuring flawless execution. Monkii Global liaised with the Four Seasons Hotel on all technical and hospitality requirements, overseeing the smooth running of the evening from behind the scenes.
Approximately 100 models graced the runway while celebrity emcee Julianne Tan and renowned TV host Zamil Idris, a finalist from Malaysia Idol Season 1 emceed the runway show. Attendees were treated to a dazzling array of couture collections from LEWRE Bespoke, Weili Couture, KN Key NG, Rosalind Kamis Couture, Vivien Tsai, and Vivien Lee, among international designers such as QLOGO from Japan and Kovalsky Couture from Moldova.
Notable guests included dignitaries like Samuel Lee Thai Hung, Deputy Director General of Tourism Malaysia, alongside industry leaders from around the world.
